Dr. Johnson grew up in the redwoods of Felton, CA and completed her bachelors degree in Animal Science at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. She first came to Alaska to start veterinary school at University of Alaska Fairbanks through the combined program with Colorado State University. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and improving access to veterinary care in underserved communities. Dr. Johnson looks forward to spending more time exploring the interior with her pointer mix, Freya.
