Dr. Brittany Wilhite - Veterinarian

Dr. Brittany Wilhite is originally from California, but has lived quite a nomadic life in 6 different states!

It was a lifelong dream to become a veterinarian. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University, and her Master's degree in Veterinary Biomedical Science from Kansas State. She moved back to Alaska to begin veterinary school in the University of Alaska Fairbanks/Colorado State University 2+2 collaborative program. Following vet school graduation, she moved to Texas to complete a one-year mixed animal internship. She couldn't stay away from Fairbanks for long, and moved back to Alaska following the internship.

Wilhite loves true general practice and the variety it brings. Other professional interests include client education and collaborating with great minds in vet med.

When she is not living the vet med life, she enjoys cuddling with her children: a dog named Lunar, a dog named Clive, and a rabbit named Austin. She is a big fan of music and is always jamming out! Her and her significant other usually enjoy a quiet life at home, baking sweets and painting.
